New Years

HAPPY NEW YEARS! We had a nice New Years Eve gathering, it was especially nice because my bro and his girlfriend were there, as they were in Mexico for Christmas so we hadn't spent any time with them over the holidays.
Here you can see we are at our favorite restaurant, Tres Hombres for dinner, and then we went back the parents house for some games and dessert. We were happy Christopher could come with us to dinner, but he ditched out afterwards to play with his new car probably. Men and their cars...I'll never understand it.

Kay so Corey has this weird obsession with Jelly Bellies. It started on his mission or some such nonsense. But Juleen, the star that she is, got Corey a huge jar full of them for Christmas. Wellll.....Tommy hadn't had time to get any of us anything for Christmas so he got us some gifts in Mexico. He brought home a Jelly Belly dispenser for Corey. What a guy.

But as good as the Jelly Belly gift was, this one stole the show. I haven't seen my dad this excited about a gift in, like...ever?

They got him a machete in Mexico and had his initials put on the case. My dad was so excited he was carrying it around on his shoulder all evening. So hilarious.

Just two guys waiting for a big game. Corey has worn the same shirt for three days, he said he isn't taking it off till after the game. It's tomorrow, so don't worry, hopefully he won't stink.

Well it was a nice New Years, and a nice holiday season. Back to real life now... snow, slush, cloudy skies, no way to shew the child outside so mom can have a break, just that good ol' winter stuff, gotta love it.
