JUMPIN JUMPIN JUMPIN

Conner loves his jumper. I actually forgot about it for a while because I had put it under the bed but I pulled it out yesterday and he can't get enough of it. I have been going thru this weird thing the last couple days where I am feel like I have fallen in love with Conner all over again I can't seem to get enough of him. I just grab him and squeeze him as if its my last hug. Poor Conner probably wonders what has gotten into his mom. This kid makes me so happy it brings tears to my eyes at least once a day. Kay enough of that....sorry!

NEW BABY MYLEE!

Since Ashley has her hands full I'm pretty sure she won't have time to post the new baby on her blog for a while. So I thought I'd do it for her.
Miley Marilyn Pollock came into the world last friday! She is GORGEOUS. Absolutely gorgeous.


I don't know what comes over me when it comes to new babies but I get so emotional its ridiculous.
I think it stems from the first time I ever saw a baby being born, something so strong came over me I can't even put it into words. It was when I was interning in the maternity ward at Cottonwood Hospital right after I graduated from highschool. Ever since that experience new babies coming into the world thrills me to my very fingertips. HOWEVER...I am in no rush to experience it for myself again anytime soon. I think Conner and I will just enjoy our time alone together for now!!
Thank you to Ash for letting me be there to meet her and check up on you. I can't believe we are moms and that you have TWO kids! Ahhhh!

SEVEN MONTHS OLD!

Conner loves to roll around my mom's kitchen floor in this walker, he has figured out how to open up her drawers and pull stuff out. It really is just the cutest thing in the world. It's so fun to see him explore the world and its so nice that he can learn to entertain himself a little bit! He is so close to crawling we are pretty sure he is going to master it any day now.

A fun day at Gardener Village, but shhh don't tell Corey!

For Quinn's birthday Megan, Julie, and me and Conner took Quinn to Gardener Village for lunch and to hang out. It was a very beautiful day and we had tons of fun.

Later that week we had another birthday celebration for Quinn at Olive Garden. As you can see Conner was very tired. I wrapped him up in my coat and he fell asleep...thankfully! It's getting harder and harder these days to keep him entertained while we are out to eat.

WHY IS THIS SO FUNNY TO ME?

Kay so this is going to seem very random to most people. But today I was looking on facebook at some of Corey's cousin Quinn's pictures and came across this one. For some unknown reason this picture is like the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life. I think its mostly the look on her face and the fact that it was filed under a picture folder called "A day in the life of Quinn." I don't know why it just is hilarious to me. Maybe I'm weird?

My mom got off work early and took me to lunch at Gardener Village. Such a fun place.

So Corey got me a video camera for my birthday. Yipee! I had been borrowing my mom's but it was time for me to get my own. I don't want to miss anything when it comes to Conner.

HAPPY FALL FUN!

Conner LOVES to take baths. In fact, he gets so mad if I try to take a bath and don't put him in within five minutes. Sometimes if he is acting fussy I just give him a bath even if he already had one that day.

So Conner likes to be entertained all day long. I was trying to get the groceries put away and he was whining wanting to be entertained. I finally threw in the towel and gave him all the groceries to play with since he wouldn't give me a minute to put them away. As you can see he thought this was pretty cool.

Turns out my mom kept a little sweater that Tommy wore when he was a little boy about Conner's age. She has a picture of Tommy in this sweater playing with some leaves and my mom took a picture of Conner doing the same thing. It will be so fun to get out that picture and compare the two!

THE SKY IS FALLING!

For Halloweeeeen Conner was the cuttest little chicken ever.
Halloween was a very busy day for us. We went and surprised Daddy at work and then surprised Great Grandpa Monson at work, then off to Grandpa at his office for another surprise visit. Late that evening we went and visited Great Grandma Monson and then Great Grandpa and Grandma Rhodehouse.
Conner was a dream, so happy to show off his costume.

Today I went to see my friend Ashley. She is having a baby girl in two weeks. HOLY COW. Freaks me out to be honest. It seems like yesterday we were newlyweds in old crappy appartments just hanging out enjoying life and now we both have kids and she is about to have another one. HOLY COW.
These two little boys got quite a kick out of each other today. I think Conner was way more aware of Jace today than he has ever been before. Conner and I have a little game we play just the two of us, I grab his binki and put it in my mouth and he pulls it right out of my mouth and puts it in his.
Jace had a binki in his mouth and I could see Conner just dying to pull it right out of his mouth.
As you might have noticed in my other post, Conner freaks out when I vacuum. Cries cries cries. Poor little guy, well Jace is really interested in Tigers and he gave a couple "rarrs" to Conner and guess what, yep you guessed it, Conner got so scared and cried.
Other than that they are best of friends!

Things are going wonderfully. Except for the fact that every time I turn on the vacuum Conner cries. Poor little guy...Its so sad. I don't know what to do about it, I avoid vacuuming because it scares him so much but at the same time I really need to vacuum you know?
