Another Bash

Something tells me that we should start getting used to these kinds of things...

Conner totally face planted today at Tommy and Juleen's house, we were on our way to feed the ducks after eating dinner at their place (they have a duck pond at their complex) Conner was running and fell right on his face, minus any hands to brace himself. Not quite sure why he didn't put his hands down, all I know is that we are very very thankful that there are no missing teeth. I was so grateful Corey was with me because I couldn't even look at him it was so bad. Blood was all over his face, and we were actually afraid he cut his head open because he hit so hard. Luckily when we were finally able to wipe away some blood we were glad to see things weren't so bad, just a VERY swollen lip and road rash on his nose and forehead.
And doing only what Conner would do, amidst the hysterical tears he pleaded to still go and feed the ducks....Obviously wiping the blood streaming down his face and having him checked out by Nurse Juleen was a little more important, so we had to say no to that request....

So sad! He is one of the toughest little guys I know!
But yeah, I think you might have to get used to that because he is such a fearless boy!
